Family meals: Mild chicken curry 

A mildly spiced, which will appeal to adults and children alike with rich curry yogurt sauce


Method

A heavy-based pot heat the oil. Gently fry the onion for 5 - 10 minutes, until soft. Add the garlic, ginger, coriander, mustard seeds, garam masala and cumin and cook for 1 - 2 minutes, so that the flavor release.

Add chicken, simmer and cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure that the spices do not grasp. Poured into about 300 ml of boiling water until almost covered. Stir in the stock cubes and cinnamon sticks. 

Simmer for about 45 minutes - 1 hour with the lid open, so there is a small amount of thickening of the sauce in the bottom of the pot. Remove the cinnamon stick.
Yogurt and raisins, stirring, heating, by gently and services. Parsley, if scatter.
